Things to be grateful for...

Well, the last year has left many things to be grateful for. Family, friends, adventures, callings. So much that I find myself wondering where the time has come and gone to and how come I didn't do half of the things that I wanted to or hope to. I will say that the last 5 months have been pretty entertaining though. For those of you who somehow didn't hear yet, we are pregnant and that has kept the months flying. We are due the first part of April. There really isn't words to describe it though. It just kind of hits both of us every once in awhile. A commercial on tv, or a particularly cute kid at the store. Shopping has a whole new meaning, we always find ourselves wandering the baby stuff now and things that I thought we so silly seem absolutely necessary. Burp rags and pacifiers, the tiniest of socks and silly t-shirts that say Daddy's Girl can't seem to avoid my touch. We really are super excited and just can't wait for her to get here. It really didn't seem real for so long and then the first ultrasound at 11 weeks showed her face and then 20 weeks showed so much more. I don't know if I wanted to laugh or cry when the tech said it was a girl. Both of us had hoped for a boy, but just as all my friends professed, I can't wait for pigtails and all those girlie things that have never appealed to me. I still don't like pink very much but dresses are growing on me and I love all the little tiny itsy bitsy shoes! Here are a few pics from the 20 week appointment. I love the one that just has her foot imprint. Ready or not, she is on her way.
